Built around Certina's DS (Double Security) principle — a system engineered to shield the movement from shock, moisture, pressure, and dust — the DS First Chronograph delivers that assurance in a 41mm polished stainless steel case with a black ceramic bezel and a black dial fitted with luminous indices and pencil-shaped hands. The Swiss ETA quartz chronograph movement drives a full suite of complications including a 12-hour register, 1/10th-second precision, and a date display, all protected beneath scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. Water resistance to 200 metres, a screw-down crown, and a solid stainless steel bracelet with a fold-over safety clasp round out a watch that takes its technical brief seriously.
